FAQ
Does any student data leave my browser?
No. Everything — the roster, ratings, and generated comments — is processed and stored locally in this browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server, so there is no third-party disclosure to manage. Always follow your school's own data policies too.
Can I submit the generated comments as-is?
This is a writing aid, not a finished report card. Always review each comment, personalize where you can, and make sure it reflects what you actually observed before submitting.
Can I add my own comment templates?
Yes — Step 1 lets you browse, add, edit, and delete templates for any category and rating. Your custom bank is saved in this browser, and you can reset it to the defaults at any time.
Will every student get a different comment?
Yes, as long as the bank has enough variety. Phrasing rotation deterministically picks a different template per student, so identical ratings still produce different wording. Change a rating or pronoun to regenerate, or edit the text directly in Step 3.
